Peacemaking: Re-thinking Conflict Resolution

The Art of Shame-Free Living presents a day-long event in Cardston, AB, on April 11th, 2026

(Remington Museum Theatre)

What typically happens in conflict:

-No matter how hard we try, conflicts don't end with us feeling satisfied (we may feel more disconnected from our spouse, or more confused in parenting, or more unheard in our opinions)

-It feels impossible to engage in civil conversation or have productive conflict, so we might avoid difficult discussions altogether (or engage in them and end up swirling in ruminating thoughts afterwards about it for days after, draining us of connection energy)

-There seems to be no way to disagree healthily; we usually shut down and repress, or say things we regret later. We don't feel like disagreements are safe emotionally; they activate us internally every time they come up.

-We feel divided on the inside when someone disagrees with us or doesn't listen to our opinion. We can tell it's impacting us emotionally- but it might be hard to narrow down why it feels this way.

-We don't see change happen, no matter how hard we try; other people don't seem to change or be convinced by what we say... almost like we're in an endless loop of the same arguments (especially in our home- parenting and marriages)

There is more happening in our heart and mind than we realize in the moment... the solution isn't to learn how to argue better, or how to pause at the right time and use empathetic language... There is SO much more to it.

Join us for a full day of learning, growth and challenging your mind. This won't just be a day of information, but of re-thinking and integration... if I do my job well, you'll leave feeling very differently about your role in peace, whether in or out of the home.

What clients in past events or coaching sessions have said...

The two hypnotherapy sessions that l've done with you have probably been the biggest breakthroughs l've ever had in my life. And I've done several modalities of therapy and thousands of hours of reading books and listening to podcasts.

... the tools you have given me have been soul-saving.

I have to say since starting the program, the coaching techniques and all the tools we have been using have helped me more than what I've experienced in 10 years of seeing a psychologist. as I feel that I'm truly healing myself.

... my yelling is way down, too. I get discouraged sometimes about how reactive I am but thinking about it l am patient more often, empathetic more often, tuning into my needs more often, and being more compassionate and forgiving of myself as a parent since first discovering you.

Thave so much to say but I really just need to say thank you. Thank you so so much. Only one week and I'm feeling kinder toward myself and my kids. It's feeling natural and not forced and I just want to cry with happiness that I found you!

I could have never gotten there on my own.

My anger is 100x better. I know in my heart that the work we've done here has made the difference.
